On site activities:
Our premises are located in the Boiler House on the Shaw Lodge Mills site, opposite the well known Shears Inn. On site activities include artificial caving, bouldering/climbing wall, ropes course, ladder climb, zip wire, archery, circus skills, slack-lining, balance boards, street surfing, orienteering games, team building, bush craft and survival skills.
Our activities are available to Individuals or groups such as corporate, voluntary and referral groups over the age of 8 years. Children of 5 and over can participate in our tailor made family programmes.
Certain activities can be transported and delivered off site. This includes canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, artificial caving, bouldering, archery, ladder climb, circus skills, slack-lining, balance boards, street surfing, orienteering, team building, survival skills, hill walking, geo-caching/GPS. We would need to risk assess any site proposed for any of the above activities to ensure it is appropriate.
These activities can be offered for events such as open days, garden parties, galas, parties, etc. More information about each specific activity can be found by following the link to the page on the drop down menu.
